Return and Refund Policy – The AI Print Shop

Important: return policy for custom-made products
At The AI Print Shop, each poster is printed especially for you on request (print-on-demand). As a result, each product is considered a custom-made product.
In accordance with Dutch and European legislation (Article 6:230p subsection f under 1 of the Dutch Civil Code), products manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
This means that returns or exchanges due to regret, an incorrect size selection, or dissatisfaction with the design are not possible. In such cases, all sales are final. We recommend carefully reviewing the product information and your order before placing it.
Exceptions: damage, defects, or incorrect delivery
Your satisfaction is important to us. Although returns for custom-made products are excluded, we will of course provide an appropriate solution when a product:
- arrives damaged;
- contains a production defect; or
- has been delivered incorrectly.
Inspection and notification
We request that you inspect the product as soon as possible after receipt, preferably within 14 days, for visible defects or errors.
If you identify an issue, please contact us as soon as possible after discovery via klantenservice@theaiprintshop.nl .
What we need
To assist you quickly and carefully, we ask that you include the following in your email:
- your order number;
- a clear description of the issue;
- clear photos of the product and – where applicable – the shipping packaging. This information is required for our quality control and any handling with the carrier.
Solution
After reviewing your report, we will provide an appropriate solution, such as a free reprint or replacement of the product.
Products returned without prior contact unfortunately cannot be processed.
Non-returnable items
Because our products are produced on request, they are in principle non-returnable. This prevents waste and guarantees the highest possible quality.
In addition, the following items cannot be returned:
- gift cards.
Unsure whether your situation qualifies as an exception? Always contact our customer service first so we can look for an appropriate solution together.
Exchanges
Because your purchase is custom-made, exchanges are not possible. In the event of issues with your order (such as damage or an error), please contact our customer service so we can assist you in accordance with the above.
Refunds
If, in exceptional cases, a refund applies (for example, following termination after an unresolved delivery issue), the amount paid will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days via the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Please note that processing a refund by your bank or credit card company may take additional time.
