General Terms and Conditions – The AI Print Shop

Article 2 – Applicability
- These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by The AI Print Shop and to every distance contract concluded between The AI Print Shop and the consumer.
- Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions shall be made available to the consumer.
Article 3 – The Offer
- All products are manufactured on request (print-on-demand) and are only produced after an order has been placed.
- Images are as true to reality as possible. Color deviations due to screen settings may occur and do not bind The AI Print Shop.
- All prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of shipping costs.
Article 4 – The Agreement
- The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and complies with the conditions set therein.
- The AI Print Shop will promptly confirm receipt of the acceptance of the offer by electronic means.
- The AI Print Shop reserves the right to refuse an order, for example if there is reasonable doubt about the accuracy of the information provided by the consumer.
Article 5 – Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
- The products of The AI Print Shop are manufactured on the basis of an individual choice and order of the consumer (Print-on-Demand). These are custom-made products.
- Pursuant to the law (Article 6:230p subsection f under 1 of the Dutch Civil Code), the statutory right of withdrawal (the right to return within 14 days without giving reasons) is excluded for products manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications.
- By placing an order, the consumer expressly agrees to waive the right of withdrawal, given the nature of the custom-made products. An order cannot be cancelled or returned after confirmation.
- This exclusion of the right of withdrawal does not affect the consumer’s rights under the statutory warranty as described in Article 7.
Article 6 – Conformity and Statutory Warranty
- The AI Print Shop guarantees that the products comply with the agreement,
the specifications stated in the offer, and the reasonable requirements of
soundness and/or usability (statutory warranty). - The consumer is requested to inspect the product as soon as possible after receipt,
preferably within 14 days, for visible defects such as production errors or
transport damage. - If a defect is discovered, the consumer must contact customer service as soon as
possible after discovery via
klantenservice@theaiprintshop.nl. - A report within 14 days after receipt will in any event be considered timely for
visible defects. This does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights to report a
defect within a reasonable time after discovery, as referred to in Article 7:23
of the Dutch Civil Code. - The consumer must provide a clear description of the defect, preferably accompanied
by photographic evidence. - If the defect is well-founded, The AI Print Shop will provide an appropriate solution,
such as a free replacement of the product.
Article 7 – Delivery
- The AI Print Shop outsources the production and shipping of orders to a specialised third party (print-on-demand service). This does not affect The AI Print Shop’s responsibility as the seller.
- Delivery times stated on the website are indicative. We aim to produce and dispatch orders as quickly as possible.
- Unless a different delivery period has expressly been agreed with the consumer, The AI Print Shop will deliver the order without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the agreement.
- If delivery does not take place within the agreed period (or no later than 30 days where no period has been agreed), the consumer is entitled to grant The AI Print Shop a reasonable additional period to deliver. If The AI Print Shop fails to deliver within that additional period, the consumer may terminate the agreement.
- If The AI Print Shop expressly refuses to deliver, or if the agreed delivery period is essential (for example for a specific date) and is not met, the consumer may, insofar as legally permitted, terminate the agreement immediately without granting an additional period.
- In the event of termination, The AI Print Shop will refund the amount paid by the consumer, including any standard shipping costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after termination, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- The risk of damage and/or loss of products remains with The AI Print Shop until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer (other than the carrier), unless the consumer has chosen a carrier outside the delivery options offered by The AI Print Shop.
Article 8 – Payment
- Payment must be made using the payment methods offered on the website.
- The consumer has the obligation to immediately report inaccuracies in provided or stated payment details to The AI Print Shop.
Article 9 – Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights relating to the designs, images, logos, and brand names on the website belong to The AI Print Shop.
- The consumer is not permitted to copy, distribute, or use materials from the website for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Article 10 – Complaints Procedure and Disputes
- Complaints regarding the performance of the agreement must be submitted within a reasonable time after the consumer has discovered the defect or complaint, fully and clearly described, to The AI Print Shop via klantenservice@theaiprintshop.nl .
- In order to handle the complaint quickly, the consumer is requested, where possible, to include the order number, a clear description of the complaint, and, where applicable, photographic evidence.
- Complaints submitted will be answered within a period of 14 days calculated from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeably longer processing time, the consumer will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 14 days, including an indication of when a substantive response can be expected.
- If a complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises. The consumer may, where appropriate, turn to a recognised out-of-court dispute resolution body (ADR). Information about alternative dispute resolution and available dispute resolution bodies per EU country can be found via:

https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies - The AI Print Shop is not obliged to participate in an ADR procedure unless mandatory legal rules or a competent authority determine otherwise, or unless we expressly agree in writing to handling by a specific dispute resolution body.
- Dutch law applies to agreements between The AI Print Shop and the consumer to which these general terms and conditions apply. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection in the consumer’s country of residence within the European Union.
- Disputes may be submitted to the competent court.
